Capital Introductions

vCapFutures provides established and tenure managers in search of investment capital with a uniquely customized, highly efficient approach to connecting the right investors to the right fund managers. Our hedge fund marketing and capital introductions services identify and qualify potential institutional, high net worth and qualified clients for hedge funds, commodity trading advisors (CTAs), commodity pool operators (CPOs) and global money managers.

We understand that it is very difficult to both market and manage a hedge fund. A focus on marketing can take attention away from managing, and vice versa. There is no easy way to raise money, and the fallacy that returns alone will automatically bring additional capital is a widespread misconception in the asset management industry. Rather, the process of telling and re-telling your story coupled with a deep understanding of your investment strategy and an awareness of the investor community’s investment appetite are mandatory for a successful capital raising campaign.

Process

Part of marketing your fund or strategy requires pre-qualifying sophisticated investors, making use of personal and business relationships vCapFutures has developed over the years. Our capital introductions team contacts these targeted investors on your behalf, introduces your firm, investment strategy, fund structure, and answers any due diligence questions they might have. We will then move toward scheduling a conference call or meeting with you and the investor. The process continues with a follow-up call to the investor to either proceed with an investment or understand objections that could potentially be countered.

Understanding

We will work with you to fully understand your investment strategy as well as the nuances within your strategy that gives your fund an edge over your competitors. It is this understanding that allows us to bridge an information gap between yourself and the sophisticated investor community and to thoroughly educate investors on your fund.

Awareness

We understand the environment of capital introductions, hedge fund marketing and investing. On a continuous basis we work hard to know what strategies interest investors, what they are allocating to and how much they have to allocate in both the near and long-term. While raising capital is the end objective to what we do, the guiding principal of our firm is to match hedge funds with investors who understand the strategy and allocate the funds knowing the specific role each fund will play in an overall asset allocation strategy.

vCapFutures has a deep understanding of the hedge fund investment process, an in-depth knowledge of the numerous investment strategies, and a firm awareness of the investment community’s ever-changing inclination toward investment strategies. vCapFutures does not rely on luck to raise investment capital for hedge funds. We rely on knowing what we are marketing, who we are marketing to, and that we will perform the hard work required to accomplish the task.
