System Requirements

• PC Running either Windows XP or 2000
• Minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 (higher recommended)
• Minimum P4 processor or higher
• 100 MB hard disk space
• 512 MB RAM or higher (higher recommended for trading)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1

STEP 1: Obtain License Code, User ID and Password

Obtain a "License Code" (provided by Ninja Trader when you request a demo or purchase your subscription) and User ID and Password from vCapFutures.

STEP 2: Download NinjaTrader

STEP 3: Install NinjaTrader

• Start Ninja Trader and enter the demo license code at the prompt.
• Enter the demo license code at the prompt.
• Select Tools -> Account Connections. This will take you to the Account Connection Set Up Menu.
• Select Add. This will take you to the New Connection Wizard.
• Click Next.
• Under Connection Name, type “vCap- PATS” or “vCap-TT”, depending on which data feed you will be using.
• On the Provider drop-down menu, select either Patsystems or Trading Technologies, depending on which data feed you will be using.
• Leave the Backup data feed connection drop-down menu selected to "None".
• Click Next.
• On the Connection Options Window, choose your data feed and enter the following information:

ALL INFORMATION IS CASE SENSITIVE. PLEASE DO NOT CUT & PASTE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. ENTER ALL INFORMATION MANUALLY TO MINIMIZE THE CHANCE OF ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS OR SPACES BEING ADDED TO YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION.

Enter the following for a PATS data feed:

User Name: Provided upon funding or demo request
Password: Provided upon funding or demo request
Host Address: 160.79.229.77
Host Port: 9990
Price Address: 160.79.229.80
Price Port: 2000 or 2001
SuperTAS: Checked
Server: LIVE (for live and real-time demo accounts only)

Enter the following for a TT data feed:

Orders:
Sender ID: Provided upon funding or demo request
Target ID: TT_ORDER
Password: Provided upon funding or demo request
Host: 160.79.229.72
Port: 10501

Price feed:
Sender ID: Provided upon funding or demo request
Target ID: TT_PRICE
Password: Provided upon funding or demo request
Host: 160.79.229.72
Port: 10502

Account:
Name: Provided upon funding or demo request
Check "Demo" if in demo mode
